Gold and silver rates

Gold and silver rates are the benchmark rates published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). They exclude GST and making charges. The price a jeweller or dealer charges you will differ: they add making charges, GST and their own margin. City pages show the same national benchmark, labelled as indicative; there is no official per-city rate.

World and crypto prices

World gold and silver prices are COMEX futures quotes from Yahoo Finance; exchange rates come from open.er-api.com. Crypto prices come from the CoinGecko public API and are aggregated across exchanges. Prices on any given exchange or platform can differ. Crypto assets are highly volatile and risky.

Accuracy and delays

We fetch data automatically and show the time of the last update on each page, with a warning when data is older than expected. Sources can be delayed, revised or unavailable, and errors are possible. Always confirm a price with the seller, exchange or official source before you act on it.

Where we mention GST or hallmarking rules, we link the official source we checked. Rules change; check the current official notification or a qualified adviser for your situation.
