Largest 7-day moves among the top 50
This list covers the 50 largest coins by market cap in our snapshot, leaving out stablecoins and dollar-linked tokens. Market cap sits beside each coin, so a large percentage on a small coin can be read in context.
| Coin | Rank by market cap | 7-day change | Market cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitway (BTW), largest gain | 33 | +58.95% | US$3.7 billion |
| Monero (XMR) | 13 | +10.29% | US$11.0 billion |
| LEO Token (LEO) | 17 | +1.44% | US$8.3 billion |
| Pump.fun (PUMP), largest fall | 49 | -22.00% | US$2.0 billion |
| Quant (QNT) | 38 | -18.02% | US$2.9 billion |
| Canton (CC) | 29 | -16.92% | US$4.0 billion |
Bitway's gain of 58.95 percent came from a coin with a market cap of about US$3.7 billion, and Pump.fun's fall of 22.00 percent from one of about US$2.0 billion. Both are small next to Bitcoin, whose market cap in the same snapshot was about US$1,651 billion.
Tax, and what this wrap does not cover
Gains from virtual digital assets are taxed under the Income-tax Act, and TDS can apply to transfers above a threshold. This wrap does not state the rate, the threshold or the section number, because we did not confirm them on the Income Tax Department site for this post. Check the current rules on incometax.gov.in before you file. The Income-tax Act 2025 applies from 1 April 2026 and renumbers many sections.
This wrap shows market prices and changes only. It does not show your own cost, fees or tax, and it does not say where prices go next. The crypto hub has the live pages for each coin.
Common mistakes when reading a weekly wrap
- Comparing a 7-day percentage on a small coin with the same figure on Bitcoin, without checking the market cap.
- Reading two prices as if they came from the same moment. Check the snapshot time on each table.
- Treating a stablecoin price near Rs 95 as a bank rate. It is a market quote for that coin.
- Leaving out fees and tax when you work out what a price change means for you.
